Simply switch the source tab to the correct source (Icons / Photos), then type a search term (in english) and hit enter, and PubCoder will filter images from the right source for you. PubCoder includes a remote images browser that allows to search for icons on The Noun Project and for photos on Unsplash and the Google Open Images database.

When dropping a file, the software will figure out the right category automatically. To import a file/folder as an asset in PubCoder, just drop in in the assets library or click the plus button.

At the bottom of the interface you can find a search box to filter the assets and a plus button to add/import new assets to the library.

You can select one or more assets asset and drag on the stage to place them on your layout (if applicable), or right-click (or click the small arrow that appears when hovering over a row) to open a contextual menu (see Working with assets)

The library is divided horizontally into four different areas: You can always find the assets library in the assets panel on the left of the project window, but it will also be displayed whenever you choose to select an asset, for example if you need to select a project cover from the project inspector among the various images in your library. From that moment on, that asset will exist in your project file and you will find it in the Assets panel, thus you can safely delete the original file, since the PubCoder project file contains a copy of it. Every time you add an asset in your project for the first time, for example you drag an image file on the stage, PubCoder makes a copy of that file inside the project and processes it, for example creating thumbnail files for an image, to optimize speed and compatibility.
